Monday's are awesome... If....

People working in shifts in 24*7 support projects would relate to this better.

Now if your case is similar to mine, then I suppose your life too is a monotonous one, where you struggle 29 days, just to be overwhelmed by a promising 5 digit on your salary slip on the 30th. You are working 5 days a week with 2 offs*(and these "offs" are subjected to market risks, please read the offer documents before your surrendering yourselves to any project). :-p

And if you happen to be one, contributing majorly in India's fall in the happiness index section. Then this one's for you.

Sometimes it so happens that the universe along with your project lead and team lead conspires against you to put you in shift on a Sunday, and in turn grants you an off on Monday.

No, there's not all the reason to be sad about it.. If you wanna be happy, if you wanna make up for you Sunday, follow this.

On this very Monday morning, go to the nearest bus stop, local station or auto stop, you ll see people running out of their lives while you just have to chill and see them getting late:-p

Men with half shirt tucked in half out, young guys running and cursing their job, some licking lemons just to get over the Sunday night hangover and ladies putting on heavy mascaras just to make sure eyes doesn't seem popping out of socket. All this happening while you are just sitting back on a becnh in the railway station, (obviously take a 5rs platform ticket) with a packet of Lays and Frooti making the world around you seem terribly confused and getting them a taste of jealousy.
Some might even ask you, bro hurry up train in coming, just reply them, "apun ka chutti hai aj" a striking shock wave will certainly hit that person, and it would take him two missed trains to get over what you just uttered!!

Some school kids mugging their notes as Monday's are always Class tests days. You just look at them, smile, think of your school days, when an old uncle would offer a smile at your tensed face increase your nervousness a level far,tables turned now, you have all the right and more importantly time, to smile at them with the same look of that old uncle..

Mondays are not as dreadful as they are doomed to be, just take an off, sacrifice a Sunday and enjoy the gloomy, tired, nervous faces of the world around running to fulfill the deadline, while you just sit back, relax, as dead-as-a-line!!
